hi there, hi.

i'm ana - i felt the need to introduce myself to you, even though i don't know why. but yes. hi. hello. i've been a silent reader of your delicate since early january and i haven't had the guts to say hello until today.

i just wanted to tell you that i love the way you write. your take on topics, on love, on everything else. i've been in a writing block for the past several months and i haven't been able to write anything worth um, reading? inspiring? or whatever i deemed good enough for anyone else to read but me. but this - 'everything i know about love' in both parts, made me want to write again. made me feel and read, and i wanted to thank you for that.

have a lovely day, ines. i'm so grateful i found delicate, your words and your worlds. it's beautiful.

ines,

an honestly refreshing take on love, especially in a time where the world seems to revolve around it. i see people, from strangers online to my closest classmates, talk about love as if it were not just another emotion among the human range of many, but rather as an ideal, and achievable goal we'll all reach when we're older. and maybe it is, and is meant to be, for some people. but not for everyone; for some, love isn't a necessity or a social standard, it's something that comes when it does (and that's not quite often at all), it hurts, it blooms, it dies, and leaves. some of us just aren't cut out for it. not all of us were sculptured the same way.

i would love to speak about this further to you, but doing so in a lengthy comment seems somewhat inappropriate (but i also can't seem to find any socials or contacts). if this is an intentional choice, then i have no means of disrespecting it, but if you'd like to talk, please don't hesitate to reach out.

i'm on my way to read the next one now.
